Undergraduate Scholarships at University of Edinburg from KEYCOM |Study With Real

KEYCOM will offer four scholarships for undergraduate study at the University of Edinburgh. Each scholarship will have a value of £1,000 per year which will be paid directly to the student and will be tenable for the duration of the programme of study.

Successful applicants may be offered paid summer work with KEYCOM as part of their award.

Eligibility

The scholarships will be awarded to any student (UK/EU/International) who has accepted an offer of admission on a full-time basis for an undergraduate programme of study in one of the following Schools:

The Business School
The School of Engineering
The School of Informatics
The School of Mathematics

Applicants should have applied through UCAS and should have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh by the scholarship closing date of 31st July 2010.

Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. The scholarship is not available to students already on programme.

Completed application forms must be returned to the Scholarships and Student Finance Office no later than 31st July 2010.

Selection Procedure

Pass:REAL

A Selection Committee will meet in early October to select the scholarship holders. Applicants should be aware that they may be required to attend an interview as part of the selection process. The winners of the scholarship will be announced in October 2010.

Termination of Scholarship

The scholarship may be terminated at any time if in the opinion of the Selection Committee the scholar has failed to make satisfactory progress or if the scholar withdraws or otherwise ceases to be registered as a full-time student at the University of Edinburgh.
